FORaSEC started with the sales of one micro brand: Magrette. After about 7 years, Halios was added to the portfolio. We realized that at the end more choice would mean happier customers and more business.
Being picky as we are, we only want to work with the more serious micro brands. Brands that are managed by (often strongheaded) individuals with a vision. Watch lovers who know how it feels to be a watch buyer hence customer. Brands that understand it is important to treat a customer in a normal, sometimes perhaps splendid way.
Small watch brands face a lot of small challenges that huge companies would simply solve by paying other people to sort out the hard stuff. Typically, a micro watch brand owner operates alone or with a small circle of freelance operators alongside. Eventhough manufacturing often is outsourced to facilities in Asia and other territories, communication and project management take a lot of hard work and energy to create a watch from a thought.
Social media are being used to get people's interest or one step further: to crowd-fund new projects. FORaSEC gets that. We specialize in small, but serious micro watch brands that somehow got our attention in a good way. Product quality has to be OK and stable, customer service and customer focus are of key importance. If something goes wrong (and most micro's have their experiences) we count on them being upfront and open, communicating to customers in a good way. That's the way we like it and how we want to operate ourselves.
