Halios, famous for their very successful range of watches including the Laguna, Tropik, Puck and the record breaking Seaforth series, has announced a new watch. Or actually two watches using similar building blocks.
Below the information that is known so far about the two versions:
1) Fairwind : 39mm, rotating bezel with Sellita SW200 automatic movementand 20ATM water resistance. Intended as a sport watch for general timing purposes, it will feature a bi-directional ball-bearing bezel mechanism (i.e. not suitable for dive timing purposes).
2) Universa : 38mm, fixed bezel with Sellita SW216 handwinding movement. Designed as a field / general use watch with 10ATM water resistance.
Both models will be built on the same platform to maintain cohesion across the 2019 lineup. Both will be available with a stainless steel bracelet as an option.
We were literally swamped with emails about this upcoming release. People are aware that it has been hard to get a Seaforth in the past due to limited availability. Although Halios assured us that "plenty" have been ordered, we want to make sure that our customers will be first-in-line once the watches are ready.
For this purpose, we have made a separate list for you to subscribe too. Click HERE and you can leave us your data and preference. You will also get all relevant info in your mailbox before we send out a general newsletter.
